Too often do people complain that "the system sucks" and "it's never going to change." Well you know what? If YOU don't do anything but sit on your lazy bum and complain all the time, then YES, it's NOT going to change. Change happens when people decide to get up and take a stand for something that they believe in. When you say that it's useless to try to do something, you're part of your OWN problem. Either work to see that change happen so you won't complain, or DON'T complain about it at all. Jeeezus.

Spring Cons and Summer Projects

Wow, school has kept me busy from doing...anything haha. Now that I'm out for summer, I had some time to post photos from Kawaiikon and Fanime this year. It's been a while since I went to a con since I took last year off because of various circumstances with plans. Great to see all of the wonderful costumes and large crowds! They get bigger every year, for sure. Although the lines suck, the energy is nice. Next year, I plan on having a table in the artist alley selling some crafts. I make wire beaded bracelets with crystals, and will be working on lolita headdresses and bonnets. I will most likely work on other hair accessories as well includ

That is, the list-copy-paste thing on facebook. Whenever I read something like this, I want to argue it since the statements are so simple and are definitely not all-encompassing. To me, I feel as if these kind of statements are posted to make the poster feel as if they have posted something intelligent where they cannot be refuted; only for people to "like" their post in agreement without questioning. Thus, the poster him/herself simply follows whoever they got their status from, thinking that it was clever or well-said/written. And now, instead of doing some beginning of semester-first day of classes reading, I'd like to do a little rant on
